For all the criticism I have aimed at him in the past few months, I still want my readers to know that there is still a great deal to learn from Glenn Beck. Today, he explained the significance of something Netanyahu said in his speech this past week. It has to do with the Book of Esther. Unfortunately, Beck did not take the connections far enough. I don’t know whether it is due to the fact that he did not think about it, or because does not as much as he needs to or the differences between his religion and the Christian faith prevent him from seeing it. All I know is there is much, much more to Netanyahu’s speech and Biblical prophecy. So much more that I feel compelled to share the connections I see so that those with eyes and ears will be able to see and hear as well.
In his speech, Netanyahu said:
“We’re an ancient people. In our nearly 4,000 years of history, many have tried repeatedly to destroy the Jewish people. Tomorrow night, on the Jewish holiday of Purim, we’ll read the Book of Esther. We’ll read of a powerful Persian viceroy named Haman, who plotted to destroy the Jewish people some 2,500 years ago. But a courageous Jewish woman, Queen Esther, exposed the plot and gave for the Jewish people the right to defend themselves against their enemies. The plot was foiled. Our people were saved. Today the Jewish people face another attempt by yet another Persian potentate to destroy us.”
The figures and roles may be different, but — Biblically — the events and message are the same. Netanyahu was playing the part of Mordeci. We know this because Netanyahu said it. This puts the American People in the role of Esther and Obama as the king. The warning, then, is simple. Either America comes to the defense of Israel, or there is no guarantee that America will survive. God may remove America — just as he removed Israel and Judah when he sent them into exile (which is where the events in Esther happen — while Judah was in exile in Babylon).
Now, if you are not a Bible believer, do not be so quick to dismiss the significance of Netanyahu’s warning. This is not the first repetition of God’s warnings to ancient Israel that have been sent to America. 9/11 was also a warning, and it was straight out of the book of Isaiah
, given before Israel was finally judged and sent into exile. For more on this warning, read The Harbinger
, or watch the video
. The parallels are beyond coincidence, and when you add them to the parallels in Netanyahu’s speech, it goes beyond the laws of probability — especially when timing and world events are factored into the equation. Skeptics always demand signs that God is real, and God responds. He is giving them now, and just as in ancient Israel, the scoffers to not hear. But, just as in ancient Israel, neither do those who call themselves by His name are deaf and blind to His warnings. But there is more.
This week, Saudi Arabia declared Obama to be one of the worst American Presidents — ever!
We should not ignore the importance of this. It is not because Obama is working to weaken Israel. Saudi Arabia shares that goal. The significance is that Obama considers Iran an ally
. This means, even though he is working to undermine Israel, Obama is an enemy of Saudi Arabia. But this is not readily apparent — unless you understand Islam and Islamic prophecy. You see, Islamic prophecy says that Mecca will be destroyed right before the end times (this link is from an Islamic site and explains these prophecies
). Iran is seeking to destroy Saudi Arabia because the Shi’a Muslims in Iran consider the Sunni Muslims in Saudi Arabia to be apostate. The Iranians also believe they can hasten the return of their Mahdi by destroying Mecca. If I were you, I would watch for this to happen — not just because Islam is divided and at war with itself, but because this is exactly what the Bible foretells.
This is the last of the connections. Bible prophecy foretells the destruction of Saudi Arabia
. Now, for those who do not believe in God and Satan, I understand that you may be inclined to brush all this off as forcing vague passages to fit the times. This is — in part — because the Church has actually done this in the past. The problem today, however, is that there are very specific prophecies that have only been understood since 1945. Before then, they could not be understood because man had not experienced the things necessary to understand them. Now we have. Also, since 1948 and 1967, we have been able to unlock Daniel’s prophecies, and they do not say what the Church has believed for the past few hundred years. So, to those who dismiss prophecy, I beg you to start studying it — and do so with sincere ernesty. You are about to see God’s hand in a way you had not anticipated. And for those who already believe, get to work doing what the Lord sent you to do. Time is short!
The last part of Daniel was sealed for the last generation, and we now know what that last part of Daniel says. It is affirmed in Zechariah, and with the events of 1948 and 1967, but also by Christ in Matthew 24. So, please, if you belong to the Lord, make sure you have oil for your lamp for the Bride Groom comes soon!
